She was predeceased by: her husband Dewitt William Johnson; and her siblings, James Elvin, Louis H. Carmichael, Elma Irvin, Era Sutherland and Velma Golden.

She is survived by: her children, Joyce Braddock of Glen St, Johnson Jr. of Glen St and Judy Webb (Joe) of Macclenny. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren.
