He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ward and Eva Ward; his granddaughter Armani Clemons; and his stepson David Lange. He is survived by: his son Charles "Bubba" Ward (Brittany) of Live Oak, FL; his stepson Scott Freeman (Melissa) of Jacksonville, NC; his daughter Jeannie Ward of Perry, FL; his stepdaughter Lindsey Freeman of Hawthorne, FL; his sister Debra Rowland (Charles) of Valdosta, GA; and his grandchildren, Brayden Ward, Audreyann Ward, Jayde Anderson, Jamarion Williams, Will Sturdivant, Tayvon Clemons, Annabelle Freeman and Ansel Freeman.
