She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Russell Nichols, Sr. and Mildred Virginia Maddox Nichols; her husband Walter Loyd; her daughter Kelly Marie Thatcher; and her brother Daniel R. "Danny" Nichols.
She is survived by: her children, Bret Thatcher (Karen), Kymberlee Perrella (Gary), Sheryl Weller (Fred), Tonja Jones (Jon) and Nikki Mason (Jimmy); her grandchildren, Ashley Thatcher, Garrett Perrella, Kyle Perrella, Derek Smith, Brittany French, Cassaundra Shawyer, Toni D'Angelo, Brandon D'Angelo and Jacob Mason; her great grandchildren, Brinka and Persphonie; and her sister Joyce Moore.
