It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Larry Byrd of Frostproof, Florida, who passed away on September 12, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Byrd and Mary Byrd; his wife Paula Byrd; and his sisters, Betty Jo Johnson, Mary Robinson and Annette Reed.
He is survived by: his children, Ashley Castillo (Gilberto) of Frostproof and Robby Byrd of Frostproof; his siblings, Shirley Childs of Live Oak, Charles Ray Byrd of Leesburg and Neal Byrd of Frostproof; his grandchildren, Chandler, Collin, Hannah and Jordan; and his great grandchild James Clayton.
