He is survived by: his wife Sharon I. Stokes; his children, Mercy Wimbish (Michael), Danetta Tolar (Seth Tolar), Sherri Treadway (Michael) and Daniel Stokes III (Jessica); and his brothers, Bartlett Wilson (Vera) and Lester Wilson (Lora).
