Though Wendell Steven may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Wendell Steven touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Locke and Quintis Fountain; his stepfather John Locke, Sr.; and his siblings, Ronald Fountain and Brenda Fountain.
He is survived by: his wife Denise Fountain of Fort Pierce, FL; his daughters, Gina Irons (Jason) of Warren, OH and Kristy Fountain of Fort Pierce, FL; his grandchildren, Blake Oelke of Vero Beach, FL and Hailey Oelke of Okeechobee, FL; and his brothers, Kevin Fountain of Newton, NC, Harmon Fountain of Port St and John Locke, Jr. (Brenda) of Fellsmere, FL. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A graveside service was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens N Us (6026 US-1, Fort Pierce, FL 34946).
