He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian MD and Eric Lenholt, MD; his brother Robin Lenholt (Norma); and also Charles Robinson (Sandy). He is survived by: his wife Mary Robinson; his stepchildren, Missy Miller Casey (Tod), Brady, Amy Warden Robbie (Michael), Kim Robinson (Charles), Megan Leland (Drew) and Michael (Devang); his former wife Mary Lenholt; his children, Anne Hirsch, Chelsea Faye Nina (Timo), Indy David, Beth Lenholt Dau (Lori), Laura Nicholson, MD (Erica) of Ric Lenholt, DC, Dallas and Piper; his nephews, David Lenholt (Sandy), DJ (Kaley) and Taylor (Luke); and his niece Leslie Lenholt.
