She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Rhoden and Effie Jones Rhoden; her husband Homer Fowler; her children, Homer Lee Fowler and Catherine Fowler; and her siblings, Lenard Rhoden, Rev. Carroll Rhoden, Hugh Rhoden, Richard Rhoden, Irene Radford and Louise Radford.
She is survived by: her daughter Nancy Irwin Pierce (James); her sisters, Ileana Dawes, Ruby Lemcke and Frances Anderson; and her grandsons, Justin Irwin (Megan) and Victor Irwin (Linda). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
