He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearlie Deams Bass and Bonnie Bell Bradley Bass; his spouses, Pearl Cook Bass and Louise Short Bass; his sons, Mannie Bass and Frankie Johnson; his grandson Lee Henry Pollard; his great grandchildren, Ronnie Lynn Bass, III and Jamie Lee Bass; and his siblings, George Bass, Mittie Bass, Bonnie Sue Bass, Alice Boyd and Louise Gold.
He is survived by: his children, Ronnie Lynn Bass, Sr. and Mary Ann Pollard (Gerald) of Mims, FL; his daughter-in-law Shirley Bass of Fort Meade, FL; and his sister Abizelle Pridgen (Glenn) of Jacksonville, FL. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
