He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Anna Hughes Woodall; his son-in-law David Burton; and his grandson Sean Tiriac Roberson-Keys. He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Woodall Keys (David) and Elizabeth Woodall Burton. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many half brothers.
