It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Scottie Spikes of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, born in Vidalia, Georgia, who passed away on March 19, 2024, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie Ray and Lois Spikes; and his siblings, Guinal S, Kennedy, Jaunita Goethe and Alton Spikes.
He is survived by: his nephews, Bennie James Hayward II and Earl Spikes Jr.; his niece Jasmine Goethe; his children, Scottie W. Spikes, Bennie J. Spikes, Chanel S. Spikes and Sade A. Spikes; his siblings, Bennie R. Spikes (Twanda) of Lyons, Georgia, Demetrius Spikes of Lyons, Georgia, Earl Spikes (Phyllis) of Lyons, Georgia, Donnie Spikes of Lyons, Georgia, Delois S. Hayward, Wylene Cooper (Earl) and Tracey Spikes; and his close friend Valarie Barnes. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, family and friends.
