He is survived by: his wife Eleanor; his sons, Scott (Debra) and Steve (Jane); his grandchildren, Drew and Lainey; and his sisters, Marsha Crapo and Cheryl Cruickshank. He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews.
It was Dean's wish that any memorial tributes be made in the form of charitable donations to Christ Church United Methodist, Trustbridge Hospice Care, or Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
