He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Abraham and Mary Stevens Mellott; and his daughter Layla Shenski. He is survived by: his wife Denise; his sons, Steven Mellott, Derek Shenski (Summer), Nicholas Shepard (Renee) and Gregory Torvestad; his sisters, Juanita Blackwell (Reggie), Melissa Yearick and Christine England (Jake); his grandchildren, Haven Shenski (Cole) and Nicholas Shepard Jr.; and his sisters, Layla Shepard and Sierra Shepard. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
