He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Markwell (Murch); his children, Brian R. Markwell (Shawny), Sherry A. Hurd (Lou) and B. Alex Spurrier (Duane); and his siblings, Todd A. Markwell (David Bovat) and Darlene Gamache. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
