She is survived by: her husband Joseph Sarnovsky; her daughters, Yvonne Simmons and Michelle Valencia; her grandchildren, Krystal Mevers (Jeff), Josh Valencia, Kevin Simmons and Kelsey Valencia; her great grandchild Madelyn Rose Mevers; her nieces, Sonia Walker (Joe), Christy Feliu and Laura Bertran (Gail); and her nephew Jorge Bertran (Jan).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Cari's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, continuing her lifelong commitment to helping others.
