He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosco S. Wilfong, Sr. and Helen Proudfoot; and his sister Rose Spencer. He is survived by: his close friend Barbara Spencer; his daughter Rhoda Wilfong; his siblings, Ruby Bennett and Wayne Jones; and his cousin Donna Heinz. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
