With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Peter Alan Stenborg of Deland, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 24, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Stenborg and Eleanor Howlett Stenborg; and his brothers, Paul, Perry, Preston and Patton.
He is survived by: his children, Peter Stenborg II (Diane) and Lori Borror (Courtney); his grandchildren, Peter (Ericka) and Lindsey; his great grandchildren, Annaliese, Peter IV and Addalee; his sisters, Pennie Szykula (Bill), Pamela Stenborg (Barry), Patti Heidtman (Billy), Peggy Romer, Paula Lahti (Matthew) and Polly Gagern (Martin); his wife Martha Waters; his stepchildren, Wallace Baily (LeeAnn) and Anna Peele (Loren); his grandchildren, Macy, Sienna, Taylor and Corinna; his great grandchildren, Olivia and Xander; and also Gail M. Stenborg.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Waterford Church of Christ (4991 Williams Lake Rd, Waterford Twp, MI 48329). A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
