She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Daniel Robert and Cordelia Fern Bell Foust; her husband John Wayne Mixon; her son John Mixon (Julie); her grandchildren, Kayla Hepler (Kyle) and Jeffrey Mixon; her great grandchildren, Makenzie and Kayden Hepler; and her siblings, Daniel Foust (Anna), Mary Smothers (Jerry) and Joyce Hammitt. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
