It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Dean Bacon II of Defuniak Springs, Florida, born in Johnson City, Tennessee, who passed away on August 20, 2022, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard D. Bacon and Margaret Joyce Martin; his close friend Harry W. Walley of Miramar Beach, Florida; and his stepfather Norman C. Duty. He is survived by: his sisters, Dina Edwards, LaSage Williams and Katherine Schaefer; and his nieces and nephews, Eli, Clay Cawthon, Grady, Ellie Gray Cawthon, Emory Edwards, Cody, Marino Williams, Nyssa Carroll, Cainen, Connor, Cohen, Adeline Williams, Anderson and Tuff Carroll.
In lieu of flowers Mr. Bacon requests that a donation in his memory be made to the Faith Assembly Church, 306 Geronimo St. Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32550 in care of: Bro. Toy Arnett, Pastor/Founder.
