She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Edward McCubbin and Bonnie Ruth Beach McCubbin; and her sister Lona. She is survived by: her husband James Marvin "Jim" Bishop, Jr.; her children, Justin, Dylan and Madison; her siblings, Donna, Susie (Kenny), Robin (Chuck) and Robby (Lois); and her aunt Marlene Bishop.
As the pandemic spread it became apparent that Nola would not be able to survive and Jim and the children relied on their faith in Jesus Christ to find peace and comfort in their wife and mom's passing and Jim realizes he and the kids shall spend and eternity of Sundays before Labor Day when they all meet on the other side of Jordan.
