She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Thomas and Margaret Thomas (Molly); her husband Henry Thomas Wilkerson; her siblings, ImaJean Pennick (Glen), Minnie Pearl Smith (Warren) and Robert Platt (Jean); and her child Dr. Sherrell Wilkerson (Rose).
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Jerrund Wilkerson (Connie) of Roswell and Shelia Grimes (Broderick); her daughter-in-law Rose Wilkerson; her grandchildren, Kacee Huguely (Brad) of Alpharetta, GA, Tiffany Rand (Bryan) of Atlanta, GA, Lauren Decoster (Cliff) of Fairburn, GA, Jerrund Wilkerson, II (Jay) of Atlanta, GA, Kristina Wilkerson (Krissy), Lloyd Wilkerson (Reggie) of Los Angeles, CA, James Edmondson, III (Trey) of Atlanta, GA and Victoria Grimes of Brooklyn, NY.; her great grandchildren, Riley, Brad Jr. (PJ), Parker Huguely, Jamison, Rohan Rand, Macen and Charlie Decoster; her brothers, Lloyd Platt (Carla) of Acworth, GA, James Wilson of Charlotte, NC and Marcos Wilson (Dickey) of Florala, AL; and her godchildren, Homer Jackson, Jr. (Gwen), Marilyn Hogans, Lori Hughes and Bernard Smith (Beverly). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and special friend.
Therefore, in her memory, donations will be given to the Walton Okaloosa FAMU Alumna scholarship fund to help a worthy student.
