He is survived by: his mother Marie Reynolds Matthews of Virginia; his wife Kay Matthews; his children, Janie Matthews, Kristy Whitehouse and Josh Matthews; his sons-in-law, David Milburn and Tim Whitehouse; his grandchildren, Addy, Eli, Shawna, Kenzie, Khyler, Austin, Kassidy, Laci, Jacob, Lily, Elliot and Haily June; and his sons-in-law, Larry, Jerry and Terry Lee Matthews. He is also survived by sisters-in-law; and many more nieces and nephews.
