It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Alice Champion of Defuniak Springs, Florida, who passed away on March 23, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas Cosson and Evelyn Cosson; and her siblings, Margene Cosson, Lillie Mae Miller and Calvin Cosson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Talena Skeen of Columbus, Georgia and Tiffany Nelson (Jason) of Crestview, Florida; her grandchildren, Timothy Murphy, Richard Strickland of Columbus, Georgia, Chelsea Nelson of DeFuniak Springs, Nathaniel Doyle of Converse, Crystal O'Neill (Kevin) of Cartersville and Jessica Wooten (Bobby) of Scott, AFB; her great grandchildren, Trinity, Angel, Lily and Talen; and her siblings, Linda Martin of Caryville, Mavelene Adkinson (Gralyn) of Pace, Glenda Rushing (Travis), Christine Pierce, Lisa Hunter of Elba, Alabama, Darrie Steven Cosson of DeFuniak Springs and Tracy Cosson (Stephanie) of DeFuniak Springs. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
