She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucius Mock and Irene Hester Mock; her husband James E. Ward; her daughter Susan Colvin; and her brother Leo Mock.
She is survived by: her children, Glinda Faye Carroll, Glenn E. Ward and Renee Bradley (Doug); her siblings, Betty Eubanks and Johnny Mock; and her grandchildren, Joshua Gautney, Roselena Kervin, Charlotte Davis, Trisha Malone, Bobby Ferguson (Regina), Steven Ward, Joy Cheslock (Tim) and Roy Davenport. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
