She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Ralph Broadus Spires and Mary Hamilton Clement Spires; her sister Jaque Spence; and her great grandchildren, Lydia Rose Shehee and Gabriel Luke Callahan.

She is survived by: her children, Angela Shehee (Ed), Angus G. "Gus" Andrews, Jr. (Donna), Becky Andrews Garea and Ralph Spires Andrews (Mayra); her grandchildren, Joyelle Callahan (Chad), Ges Shehee, Will Shehee (Etta), Mac Shehee (Katie), Angus Graham Andrews, III (Kendall), Luke Andrews (Suzanne), Laura Andrews, Mary Jo Mosley (Jeremiah), Amanda Reeves (Jason), Erin Andrews, Bridget Andrews, Leo Andrews and Channing Andrews; her brother Legare Spires (Betty); her nieces, Shari Anderson, Libby Irwin and Laurie McNew; and also Tammy Gondreau.
