He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph E. "Ed" Brown and Stella Brown; his aunt Myrtle Bray; and his grandson Ryan Spencer Amason. He is survived by: his children, Noble Spencer Amason of Paxton, Amy Michelle Madden (Charlie), Joseph Wayne Brown, Jr. (Felicity Baxter) of Eucheeanna, M. J, Squires (Johnathan) and Daniel Ruben Brown. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
