It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Farrel Wayne Simmons of Defuniak Springs, Florida, born in Port Sulphur, Louisiana, who passed away on February 20, 2022, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Wayland Simmons and Mary Perkins Simmons; and his brother Edward Simmons. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Simmons of DeFuniak Springs, FL; his children, Wayland Simmons of Nantucket, MA, Joshua Simmons of DeFuniak Springs, FL, Haley Chaney of DeRidder, LA, Samuel Simmons of DeFuniak Springs, FL, Jesse Simmons of DeFuniak Springs, FL and Nora Wyant of DeFuniak Springs, FL; and his sisters, Beverley Hargrave of DeFuniak Springs, FL and Ann Simmons. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren.
