He is survived by: his children, Marsha Lynn Cook (Charlie), Bradley Gene Ellison (Tara) and Steven Lee Ellison (Angela); and his siblings, Bill Ellison (Maribea), Alphie Cook, Gladys Browning, Geraldine Jackson and Helen Parsons (Doug). He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
