It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna Jo Carr of Defuniak Springs, Florida, born in New Albany, Mississippi, who passed away on February 14, 2022, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Robert Heaton (Bob). She is survived by: her mother Lula Heaton; her husband Michael Carr; her parents-in-law, Nina Carr and Curtis Carr; her siblings-in-law, Gene, Emmett Carr and Gaye Carr; her daughters, Brianna Leavins and Brittany Swinford (Josh); her grandchildren, Reed, Brylee Leavins, Clara, Owen Swinford and Sophie Swinford; her brothers, Michael Heaton (Sandra), Chris Heaton (Linda) and Keith Heaton (Sherri); and her sisters-in-law, Era Ann Carr and Anne Carr. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Flower will be accepted at the funeral home, or monetary donations can be made to Southwide Baptist Church Women's Ministry in Donna's memory.
