It is with great sadness that we announce the death of DMD Lynn Earl Mayfield of Defuniak Springs, Florida, who passed away on June 2, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Orville Mayfield and Hetabel Dodson Mayfield. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Murry Mayfield of DeFuniak Springs; his sister Barbara Sue Mayfield Rosenbarger; his children, Stephen Mayfield (Marjorie) of Bainbridge, Georgia, Phillip Mayfield (Kim) of Orlando, Florida and Katherine Mayfield Scott (Michael) of Knoxville, Tennessee; his stepdaughter Mary Chris Murry; and his nephew James Lynn Rosenbarger. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and one fur grandchild.
Flowers are being accepted, as well as donations can be made to St. Agatha's Episcopal Church – a place very near and dear to Lynn's heart.
