He was predeceased by: his parents, Neal F. Ray and Lela Mae Sellers Ray; and his siblings, Lucille Hanks, Cleatus Ray and Delon Ray.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Cox Ray of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
