He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ed Carroll and Hattie Scott Carroll; his former wife Mildred Carroll; and his siblings, Dallas Carroll, Millie Carroll, James Carroll and Dearon Carroll.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Carroll; his children, Sidney Carroll (Renee) of Crestview, Billy Carroll, Jr. (Freda) of Milton and Sheila Balkom (Pete) of Bonifay, Florida; his stepchildren, Pamela Brock (Donnie), Wanda Owens (Carl), Brenda Rudd, Debra Kent (Joey), Newton Rudd (Malisswa) and Dennis Rudd (Carol); his siblings, Myrtle Carroll, Mallie Carroll, Peggy Carroll and Doug Carroll; his grandchildren, Ryan Carroll, Lindsay Slay (Scott), Ashley Green (Markus), Adam Carroll (Tonya), Alex Carroll, Josh Balkom, Holly Folds (Kyle), Courtney Durham and Samantha Garner (Zac); and his great grandchildren, Jack, Weston, Drew, Anna, Carson, Issac, Bryson, Alli, Karstyn, Darbi, Kamden, Nolan, Ramzi and Grey. He is also survived by twenty-one step grandchildren and thirty-four step great grandchildren.
