She was predeceased by: her parents, James Franklin Garrett and Zilphia Neal Garrett; and her siblings, Milbra Kirkland, Clayton Garrett, Elzonia Brannon, Willie Mae Wolff and Donald "Sonny" Garrett.
She is survived by: her daughter Diane Buch (Dean) of Milton Florida; her grandchildren, Haley Buch and Lauren Buch; and her great grandchild Sawyer Burridge. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
