She was predeceased by: her husband Lowell Deem Sr.; her parents, Walter Bixby and Estella Bixby (Carlton); her son Lowell Deem Jr.; her stepdaughter Donna Moore (Larry); and her sisters, Lillian Harris and Rosemary Homans.

She is survived by: her children, Pearline Corby (Kevin) and Polliann Long (Kenny); her grandchildren, Jayson Moore (Abbey), Apryl (Deem-Long), Tiara, Korey and Juanita Ball; her great grandchildren, Ezra, Avery and Josiah; and her siblings, Leslie Bixby, Sylvia Hildebrant (Lawrence) and Walter 'Chic Bixby.
