She was predeceased by: her parents, William Austin and Faye Quick (Blackburn); her spouse Novice Lanier "Dee" Deaver; and her siblings, Faye Rosser, William Austin Quick, Jr. and Richard Rolander Quick.

She is survived by: her son John Austin Deaver of Cincinnati, OH; and her sister-in-law Azile (Richard Delpierre) of Roanoke. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
