She was predeceased by: her son Robert Vaughn (Diane); her parents, Joe Allen and Pauline Pierce Allen; her husband Amos Calvin Vaughn; her grandson Josh Vaughn; and her siblings, Nell Hill, Nora Allen, Sarah Huckabee, Roy Allen and Paul Allen.

She is survived by: her granddaughter Charlotte; her children, Lamar Vaughn (Tracee), Patricia Sue Gray (Richard), Frankie Vaughn (Joan) and Johnny Vaughn (Sherry); and her brothers, Franklin Allen (Dot) and Luther Allen (Becky).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Crossroads Community Church, 1807 Lawing Road, Charlotte, NC 28216.
