He was predeceased by: his parents, John D. Roarty and Margueritte S. Roarty. He is survived by: his wife Carol Roarty; his son Daniel; his daughter-in-law Susan; his stepdaughter Heather Hartman (Colin McKean); his grandchildren, Ginger, Sarajane, Wynne Roarty, Alex and Zach McKean; and his brother Brian Roarty. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews at Glenn Dale Golf Club and Twin.
