He is survived by: his nephew Alphonso Watkins; his mother-in-law Barbara; his wife Barbara; his son Cleveland Watkins, III; his grandson Joshua Watkins; his siblings, Mary Watkins of Shelby, MS, Bobbie Humphrey of Renova, MS, Patricia Watkins of Horn Lake, MS, Fred Watkins of Chicago, IL and Abedell Watkins (Tammy) of Ruleville, MS; and his nieces and nephews, Alicia Miles, Daneen Johnson, Dorval Reed and Arthur B. Reed. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Cleveland was the fourth of ten children and at a young age, he developed a foundation of ethics that would follow him the rest of his life.
