He was predeceased by: his parents, Samir Bichay and Etty Bichay. He is survived by: his sister-in-law Christi Bichay; his nieces and nephews, Cody Bichay (Amber), Chris Bichay (Brittney), Chelsey Bichay (Jake), Candice Cronan (Theo), Stephen Charlton-Bichay (Cheyenne), Daniel Charlton-Bichay (Courtney), Grace Bichay and Andrew Bichay; his former wife Joyce; his children, Justine McCante (Ernest) and Jon Bichay (Brooke); his grandchildren, Deondre, Izaiah, Brody, Liam, Arthur, Truitt, Hendrix, Isiah, Raylin, Lizzie, Marley, Scarlett, Harper, McKenna and Peyton; his brother Magdi Bichay (Dianne); and his pet Maverick. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in Sami's honor.
