She was predeceased by: her parent Charles Benson; her parents-in-law, Florence Mears and Albert Coe Mears, Sr.; her brother-in-law Charles C. Hobbs, Jr.; her husband Alber Mears, Jr.; and her children, Ashley Krantz (Zachary), Charles Mears and Trey Mears.
She is survived by: her grandson Matthew Krantz; her siblings, Cynthia McGarrah and Larry Gene; and her sister-in-law Holly Horath (Allan). She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
