He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dunbar Gordon, Sr. and Mattie Bell Gordon (Papps); and his siblings, Floy May Studyvin, Louise Davis, Annie Thomas, Shirley Capshaw and Victor Gordon.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Gordon; his daughter Michele Gordon of Kona; his grandchildren, Lindsay Chambers and Alex Richardson; and his great grandchildren, Shiloh and Harlow Chambers.

Memorials may be made to the Wynne Church of Christ.
