He is survived by: his wife Peggy Porterfield Lare; his children, Deborah Lare Crites (Robbie) of Corpus Christi, TX and David Randolph Lare (Debra) of Carolina Shores, NC; his grandson David Randolph Lare Jr. (Heather) of Supply, NC; and his great grandchild Maci Rose Lare. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
