He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond C. Yakes and June Yakes; and his former wife Marilyn Joanne Yakes. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Young; his sons, David Yakes (Sherry) and Darrell Yakes (Paula); his stepdaughter Lynn Marie Lazenby (Johnny M.); his brothers, Tom Yakes (Dixie), Douglas Yakes (Amy) and Richard Yakes (Roxanne); his stepgrandchildren, Chad Young and Amanda Zultowski (Charlie); and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Heidi, Charlotte and Isabel Zultowski. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
