She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Philpot; and her siblings, Alford Mengerson, Joseph Mengerson, Nellie Brafford, Mildred McDuffie and Leona Hernandez.
She is survived by: her parents, Budley Strickland and Janie Strickland; her children, William Key (Doris) and Louise Houghtalin (Charles); and her sisters, Lucy Murphy and Delores Leggett (Frank).
