She was predeceased by: her parents, Eurshel Garrett and Beatrice Garrett (Fultz); her grandparents, John Allick Garrett, Susan Elizabeth Garrett (Smith), Benjamin Ernest Fultz and Lena Forrest Fultz (Duke); her brother Larry Garrett; her pets, Jamie, Becky, Bella, Bolton and Betsy; and her friend Sandy Rogers.
She is survived by: her husband J. Bret Ekiss; her children, Jeffrey B. Ekiss and Sara Elizabeth Fisher (Michael Fisher); her grandchildren, Liam Fisher and Jenson Fisher; her siblings, Betty Adamo, Ted Garrett and Glenn Garret; and her pets, Bailey, Abbie, Annie and Lily. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
