He is survived by: his wife Philo; his daughter Elke; his son-in-law Gilles Rainville Jr. of Georgia, Vermont; his son Martin; his daughter-in-law Renate Rickert of Rottweil Germany; his grandchildren, Kirsten, Justin Enegren, Emma, Claire Rainville, Leilani and Keanu Rickert; his close friend Anton; and his brother-in-law Heinrich. He is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews.
