He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas Newsome and Annie Newsome; his children, John Newsome, Jr., Jill Evans, Jo Anne Endress (Jim) and Julie Altenbach (Rob); his grandchildren, Whitney Ward Deason (Jacob), Weston Ward, William Ward, Joe Endress (Angie), Jamie Endress, Josh Altenbach (Allie), Noah Altenbach and Kara Altenbach; and his great grandchildren, Aubrey, Jonathan Endress, Delaney, Declyn, Devereaux, Dreher Deason and Turner Altenbach. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
