He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret; his son William Alvarez; his parents, Charlie Alvarez and Margaret Alvarez (Blackburn); and his siblings, Royce, Dick, Evelyn, Vera and Audrey.
He is survived by: his daughter Mary; his son-in-law Jimmy Alvarez; his daughter Helen Williams (Bill Wright); his grandchildren, Kyle, Marcus, Joey (Shannon) and Ariell; and his great grandchildren, Brantley, Bryleigh and Bryson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
