He was predeceased by: his parents, Alberto Torres and Librada Alaníz of Torres; his great grandchild Angel Luis Rivera Jr.; and his brother Florencio Torres Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Irma Morua (Saul), Librada Rivera (Edward), Frederico Torres Jr., Maria Zavala (Bernardo), Rosa Zavala (Isidro) and Jessica Torres (Adrian); and his siblings, Consuelo Areola, Paula Arriaga, Moncerato Torres (Mary Jean) and Brenda Serrato (Raymundo). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
