He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Gene Sikes and Clara Inez Sikes; and his siblings, Jerry Sikes, Charles Sikes, Jimmy Sikes, Ronnie Sikes and Robbie Franklin.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Sikes, Amy Lee (Taurus) and Donna Knotts (James); his grandchildren, Chaston Gold, Chet Parker, Cynthia Tanaka, Nevaeh Holloman, Denasia Lee, Darion Mings, Joyce Lee, Whittany Knotts and Haylie Knotts; his great grandchildren, Easton Gold, Savanah Smith and Aaliyah Rodgers; his friend Margaret Fisher; his son Jason Sikes (Tammy); his close friends, Brenda Colleen Rogers and Roxanne Sikes; and his siblings, Freada Moats (Rudolph), Peggy Hendrix (John), Ricky Sikes, Joe Sikes (Lisa) and Billy Sikes. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other sorrowing friends.
